    2. Francisco Rosales published his work in 2006 arguing the struggles Latinos face in regards to gain civil rights. He proves his claim by providing over 922 entries of significant events that demonstrates the fight for equality. The purpose of this book is to provide historical context of what events helped establish the Chicano Movement that then influence the MAS protest in Tucson. The intended audience for this book is any activist that is looking for ways to help gain equality for the Latino/Latina community.
