She supports her claim by showing the effectiveness of reading Chicano Literature and examining the Critical Race Theory (CRT). The purpose of this article is to close any cultural and academic gaps for the school’s Hispanic/Chicano students. The intended audience of this article is the TUSD so that they may see the importance of the MAS program to student achievement and inclusivity.
