Who: Los Samaritanos de Tucson and individuals that attempt to cross the southern Arizona border, and those for/against Los Samaritanos.
What: Los Samaritanos de Tucson are taking donations of water, clothes, shoes, hygiene, and non-perishable food for individuals that attempt to cross the southern Arizona border.
When: 2016
Why: Protesters will be showing support or disapproval for the "What" of Los Sumaritanos. Argument for: it is a humanistic approach to immigration, argument against: it is supporting undocumented immigration into the United States.
Identity: Two identities of this protest is "immigrant" and "samaritan."
Protest Strategy: Have Los Samaritanos de Tucson at their donation collection center and have the against party protesting the center drop off. Regardless of protest, Los Sumaritanos deliver the materials along the border for the individuals attempting to cross the border.
Protest Slogan: "A healing presence along the border."
Ethical? Yes, humanistic approach to immigration.
Legal? Yes because of laws like DACA and DAPA.
Effective? How? Yes because protesters are able to save lives and be in good standing with the law.
Ethos: Number of helpers that were past border control or law enforcement.
Pathos: Number of people that die during this journey because they it is the desert.
Logos: Placing materials throughout the desert for easy access to all individuals.
