For years loyal supporters of the Second Amendment, and groups such as the Brady Campaign or New Yorkers Against Gun Violence have been at each other's necks. Gun Control advocates try to show how the purpose of the second amendment is being avoided entirely. They believe guns are the cause of all gun violence. Second amendment supporters argue that guns are part of their rights of being a citizen and that more guns means less crime.
The arguments for both sides are numerous. With recent shootings gun control is a hot topic, and there is more of an urgency to find a solution to gun violence. Both sides have studies and statistics backing their view.
