What/When- My new protest is about the case against 8, which is about a grassroots organization that decided to file a lawsuit to overturn California's Prop 8 Law- which banned same-sex marriage. The lawsuit occurred from 2009-2013.

Who- Attorneys Ted Olson and David Boies file Perry in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on behalf of two same-sex couples who had been denied a marriage license earlier that month.

Where-This occurred in the state of California as this was California law. However, in 2012 the U.S. Supreme Court agreed to hear the case

Why- This lawsuit was filed so that equal marriage rights could be legal to all.

Identity- I think that there are quiet a few identities within the protest. First off, I think a large identity is Gay/Lesbian, as that was who was fighting for fair and equal marriage rights. But this also had a lot to do with families and the legal joining of families and spousal rights, and so another identity could be family as well. Again, once I do more research and explore this further I think that specific identities will become more clear
