Which place or places are significant for your protest?
The place that most significant for my protest is the city of Ahmadabad, in India. Another place that is significant is the village of Dandi, also located in India.
What did people associate with the places prior to your protest?
For the cities, they are known seen as massively important. However, back then since they where under British rule, they were mainly seen as Indian/not British, and therefore inferior.
Did the protest change how people understand the places?
Yes, the government of India recently made plans for Dandi to be a tourist city, and Ahmedabad is currently one of the largest cities in India.
